If you’re new to Car Eats Car 3 and have no clue where to start, don’t stress—it’s way simpler than it looks. This is a fun 2D side-scrolling racing game with cartoon vibes, and the main goal is super straightforward: eat other cars, upgrade yours, and beat all the levels. I’ll break down the basics so you can jump in and start winning fast.
First, let’s talk controls ’cause that’s the first thing you’ll mess up. Left side of the screen controls your car’s balance—super important for going up and down hills. Right side is for speed and bombs. Tap the right button to speed up, and the bomb icon to blow up enemies. That’s it! No fancy stuff, just get the hang of balancing first—if you tip over, you’ll have to restart the level, which is annoying.
One thing I wish I knew when I started: don’t just race to the finish. To get 3 stars (and better rewards), you need to crash as many enemy cars as possible—police cars, regular cars, whatever. The more you destroy, the higher your score. Also, keep an eye out for fuel and diamonds along the way—you’ll need ’em for upgrades.
Let’s talk about cars and upgrades. Your starting car is Gator, and it’s pretty basic—low armor, not great attack. But as you beat bosses, you’ll unlock better cars like Harvester and Shredder. Harvester is unlocked after beating Boss 1, and it’s way sturdier. Shredder is even better, with higher attack and armor, unlocked after Boss 2. Upgrade your car’s speed, armor, and turbo too—collect coins and diamonds to make these upgrades happen.
Quick tips for newbies (trust me, these help!):
Get free diamonds easy. Watch the 15-30 second ads in the game—you’ll get 100 diamonds each time, and you can watch ’em over and over. Also, beat boss levels and random tough missions for more diamonds.
Use weapons wisely. You can unlock bombs, freeze rays, and even EMPs to take down enemies. Don’t waste them—save bombs for groups of cars to get more rewards.
Switch cars when you need to. If a level has lots of tough enemies, use a car with high armor like Harvester. If it’s a race against time, go for a faster car with better turbo.
Change to Chinese if you want. Tap the gear icon in the top left, go to LANGUAGE, and pick Chinese. Super easy, no hassle.
