Editor's Review
I’ve played GT Manager on Android, and it’s a deep racing team management game. You build your own motorsport team, collect over 30 official GT cars from GT4 to Hypercar classes, and race online against real players. You handle race strategy, adjust tires for weather, manage drivers, sign sponsors, and upgrade cars to climb to the Elite League. Daily and weekly events keep you progressing. It’s great for racing fans who love strategy and team management.

GT Manager Tips
GT Manager: Newbie Guide & Essential Gameplay Tips
If you’re new to GT Manager and feel a little overwhelmed by all the car classes and strategies, don’t stress—I’ve been there. It’s a racing management game, not a regular driving sim, so you’re not behind the wheel, you’re calling the shots for your team. Let me break down the basics so you can start building your dream racing squad without the confusion.
First things first: forget about driving. This game’s all about strategy. You’ll build your own team, pick cars, tell drivers what to do, and try to climb the ranks. It’s pretty casual once you get the hang of it, but there are a few key things you need to know to avoid messing up your first few races.
When you start out, you’ll be thrown into the GT4 class—don’t skip this part. It’s the perfect place to learn the ropes because you’ll have less experienced drivers and simpler cars, so you can practice your strategy without feeling rushed. You’ve got a few car options here, like the Lotus Emira GT4 or Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, so pick one that feels right (they’re all pretty solid for beginners).
The biggest thing to focus on during races? The three main gauges: fuel, tire wear, and engine temperature. You gotta keep an eye on these 24/7. If you push your drivers too hard, the engine might overheat or the tires will wear out fast, and you’ll end up crashing or losing positions. Tell ’em to slow down when the track’s tight, and speed up when it’s clear—simple as that.
Weather’s another big one, even if it’s not perfect. The game tells you exactly when the weather will change and which lap it’ll happen on, which takes a little fun out of it, but it helps you plan. If rain’s coming, switch to wet tires before it hits—wait too long, and you’ll slide all over the track. Also, track temp changes with the time of day, so a night race in Germany is way different from a midday race in Abu Dhabi.
Coins and sponsors matter more than you think. Get as many sponsors as you can—they’ll give you the cash to buy better cars and upgrade your team. Collect championship points, climb the rankings, and you’ll unlock the Elite League to race against the best players. Oh, and don’t sleep on the endurance races—daily and weekly 24H or 48H races give tons of rewards to help you progress faster.
A quick heads-up: the game can get repetitive after a while, and money’s pretty easy to come by—you might even win a championship in your first year. Also, the mobile version is free, and the PC version isn’t that different, so stick to the mobile one if you’re just casual. But if you love GT racing, it’s still worth playing.
One last tip: don’t ignore car setups. They’re basic, but they can make a big difference. It’s a bit of a gamble—you pick options to improve performance up to 20, but don’t go over, or you’ll lose speed. Wait till you unlock the headquarters building (after 24 months in career mode) to get the most out of setups.
That’s pretty much all you need to start. It’s not the deepest management game out there, but it’s fun if you’re into racing. Take it slow, practice your strategy, and you’ll be leading your team to the top in no time.
