Earn to Die 2 Official Introduction

Drive your car through a zombie apocalypse in this massive follow-up to the chart-topping hit Earn to Die!

An evacuation ship is waiting on the other side of the country. The only thing that stands in your way: city after city overrun by zombies . With only a run-down car and a small amount of cash you face a familiar situation... to drive through hordes of zombies in order to survive!

BRAND NEW STORY MODE

Earn to Die 2 introduces a massive new Story Mode, five times longer than its predecessor. The game departs its familiar desert setting and delves into the depths of cities infested by zombies.

MULTI-TIERED LEVELS:

Levels are now multi-tiered! Drive across decayed highway overpasses, via underground tunnels, or smash through epic zombie filled factories. Whichever path you choose to take, you won't be able to escape the zombie hordes - your only choice is to smash through them!

BUILD A ZOMBIE-SMASHING MACHINE

Unlock and upgrade 10 different vehicles, including a sports car, a fire truck, and even an ice-cream van. Each vehicle can be equipped with a range of upgrades, such as armored frames, roof-mounted guns, boosters and more. Those zombies will stand no chance.

DESTRUCTIBLE VEHICLES

Vehicles are now fully destructible. Hang on for your life as your vehicle gets smashed to smithereens if you aren't too careful.

MORE ZOMBIES. MORE DESTRUCTION. MORE MAYHEM.

What are you waiting for? That rescue ship isn't going to wait forever! Prepare yourself for a wild ride - and seriously, there is nothing like smashing through zombie-filled factories!

Earn to Die 2 Tips

Earn to Die 2 Newbie Guide & Honest Review

Earn to Die 2 fixes everything that made the first game feel repetitive—and cranks up the zombie-smasher fun to 11. If you’re new to the series, or just picked this up and have no clue where to start, this guide’s gonna get you surviving that zombie apocalypse in 5 minutes flat, no cap.

First, forget the boring desert from the first game—this one’s set in a zombie-infested city, and it’s way more chaotic (in the best way). The core loop’s simple, but don’t sleep on it: drive your tricked-out car through hordes of zombies, get as far as you can before your fuel runs out or your car breaks, then head back to the garage to upgrade. Rinse and repeat, but it never gets old.

Newbie 101: Start with Story Mode—all other modes lock until you grind through a few levels. When you fire up the game, you’ll get a cutscene (skip it with the top-right button if you’re impatient) and then hit the garage first. Trust me, don’t skip the garage. This is where you buy fuel, armor, weapons—all the stuff that keeps you from getting torn apart by zombies.

Controls are dead simple, even for noobs: hold the gas to go, tap left/right to rotate your car (don’t overdo it—you’ll flip and break your ride). Oh, and your car CAN break—badly. Slam into a wall too hard, or let zombies tear it up, and you’ll be stuck mid-level, game over. So yeah, speed’s good, but don’t be reckless.

Pro tips to survive longer: 1) Save your boost for ramps—hit it right before you launch, and you’ll soar over zombies and cover tons of ground. 2) Unlock new cars ASAP—there are 10 total, from sports cars to fire trucks (even an ice cream van!), and each plays totally different. 3) Upgrade armor first if you’re crashing a lot—extra protection keeps your car intact longer.

The best part? The city maps are multi-layered—you’ll drive over crumbling highways, through dark tunnels, and plow through zombie-filled factories. Every run feels different, and the zombies? Way more brutal than the first game. They’ll swarm your car, tear off parts, and make you fight for every mile.

Final call: It’s a grind, sure (some folks hate that), but it’s a fun grind. The customization’s deep, the action’s satisfying, and it’s perfect for quick 10-minute sessions. If you love zombie games and messing around with tricked-out cars, this is a must-play. Now go upgrade that ride and smash some undead—rescue’s waiting.
