Editor's Review
This app gave my uncle his voice back after his stroke. He taps a button, and the phone speaks for him—phrases, full sentences, even typed words. Customizable buttons, photos on them, no internet needed. It's not perfect, but it's life-changing. Perfect for anyone with aphasia, autism, or any condition that makes speaking hard.

Speech Assistant AAC Tips
What makes this app way better than generic AAC tools is its flexible user-centric design. Instead of forcing rigid preset phrases, it lets users build a fully personalized communication library. You can create custom categorized buttons for daily phrases, add symbols or photos for visual clarity, and tweak voice pitch and speed to match your preferred tone. It also works fully offline, which is a huge win for users who need reliable communication anywhere, no internet required.
New users often underutilize its best features by sticking only to basic typing. These beginner tips will help you set up a smooth, tailored communication workflow in minutes:
1. Build custom phrase categories first Don’t rely solely on manual typing for every conversation. Set up dedicated categories for daily scenarios like meals, medical needs, social chats, and emergencies. Save your most-used phrases as one-tap buttons. This cuts down typing time massively and makes daily communication far faster and more natural.
2. Leverage history and autocomplete tools The app tracks all your past phrases in a built-in history log. Always revisit this section to reuse frequent lines instead of retyping them. Its smart autocomplete also suggests saved phrases mid-typing, streamlining quick conversations on the go.
3. Customize voice and display settings Tweak the text-to-speech voice speed, pitch, and volume to sound more natural. For loud public spaces or hearing-impaired listeners, enable full-screen large text display. You can also add an attention sound to grab others’ focus before speaking.
