You don't need a $500 headset to play PC VR games. iVRy turns your Android phone into a SteamVR headset. I strapped my phone into a Cardboard viewer, connected via USB, and played Project CARS without stuttering. The Lite version is fine for testing, but color desaturates after five minutes – the Premium upgrade is worth it for longer sessions.
