Chinese Parents Tips
Chinese Parents Android Guide: Nail the Game from Day 1
Chinese Parents isn’t your average life sim. It’s messy, relatable, and low-key stressful—just like real life growing up in a Chinese family. You start as a tiny baby and grind all the way to the Gaokao (China’s make-or-break college exam), and every stupid little choice you make? Yeah, it messes with your future. I’ve spent hours grinding through generations, so here’s the real-deal guide to not sucking at this game, no fluff included.
First off, stop thinking you’ll get into Tsinghua on your first run. It’s impossible—your stats are garbage, your talents are non-existent. Pick one career path early (like doctor, artist, whatever) and dump all your points into the stats that matter for it. Most careers don’t show up automatically; you gotta buy ’em from the store, so keep an eye out for those.
The store’s your best friend, but don’t waste coins. Top row’s for stress relief and parent satisfaction—buy stress meds every turn starting from the second generation. Trust me, you’ll thank me when your kid doesn’t have a breakdown. Bottom row’s for new entertainment options, but once you unlock the (collection), those are useless. Don’t buy ’em again—save coins for the good stuff.
Let’s talk about the big stuff: challenges and socializing. You get 5 “face-off” challenges per generation—win the first one by having at least one Epic trait and a bunch of Rare ones. After that, get a Legendary trait and you’ll crush ’em all. For the talent show? Legendary traits are a guaranteed win; Epic’s a 50/50 shot.
Socializing’s hit or miss, especially for guys. If you’re a girl, just spend action points and swap out your bestie for the person you wanna date. For guys? You gotta play it smart—figure out each girl’s vibe. Skip Liu Pianpian (she’s a who’ll dump you), go for Tang Jina if you want an easy win (she’s simple, and high pocket money helps).
Random events pop up all the time—here’s the quick cheat sheet: always pick the option that boosts your stats, not the one that feels “right.” Hug mom when scared (memory +20), yell at your dad when he calls you short (body +125), and admit it if you get caught with your phone (IQ +120). Skip the scam texts—they’re a waste of time and IQ.
Oh, and don’t sleep on parent expectations. They don’t punish you for missing ’em, but finishing ’em gives you extra stats and action points. Do ’em when your action bar’s not full—free gains, no downsides.
Final tip: this game’s all about generations. Your kid inherits your stats, so don’t stress if your first run is trash. Grind a few generations, stack those talents, and eventually you’ll nail the Gaokao and unlock all the cool careers. It’s not hard—just stop overcomplicating it.
