Eternal Evolution Newbie Guide: Stop Wasting Time, Start Dominating

Eternal Evolution is a solid sci-fi strategy RPG, but it’s easy to fumble early if you don’t know the ropes. I’ve spent hours grinding through the early game, testing lineups and hoarding resources, so I’m here to save you from the same mistakes. This ain’t no fancy official guide—just straight-up tips to get you crushing stages fast.

First off, forget the “best lineup” hype. There’s no one-size-fits-all here, but I’ll tell you what works: start with AOE heroes. Trust me, most early stages are designed for AOE damage, and it’s the easiest team to put together. My go-to early squad? Oisa + Omar + Murphyro, paired with Commander Lota. Lota’s skill is a game-changer—hit 3+ enemies with energy skills, and she calls in a plane to nuke the whole team. Total chaos, in the best way.

Now, heroes. You don’t need to spend a ton to get good ones. Beat the early main story, and you’ll grab Omar and White Dragon—both solid AOE picks, so level ’em up first. Climb to floor 30 of the tower, and you’ll get Panda, a support, but don’t waste resources on him unless your team’s still messy. Oh, and don’t sleep on launch events—you can get Guan Yu for free from leaderboards, and he’s T1 tier, easy. As for gacha? Save up for 10 pulls—there’s a guaranteed rare/elite, so pulling singles is just dumb. And don’t hoard diamonds; keep 500 or so for quick AFK rewards, and spend the rest on pulls.

Resources are make-or-break here. Early game, you’ll starve for hero exp—grind every daily stage (Wasteland, Cave, Dome, Swamp) to the max. Quick AFK rewards are worth the diamonds, too—you’ll earn them back in no time. Late game, it’s all about Break Stones, which mostly come from tower climbs. For shops? Buy Break Stones every time. Before your team’s set, grab targeted purple cards; once it’s solid, stock up on fodder for leveling. And skip blue/purple gear—even orange is iffy. Save for red gear or better.

One last thing: Commanders matter. You’ll unlock Lota early, and she’s perfect for AOE teams. To get more, farm the Xinsaro Swamp daily (3 times max)—use AOE heroes to clear it fast. Higher-quality Commanders give better buffs, so level ’em up with junk Commanders or Honor Medals. Oh, and don’t forget hero progression—level up with gold and exp, break through to unlock skills, and evolve with same-race materials for big stat boosts.

That’s it—no fluff, just the stuff that actually works. Follow this, and you’ll be outpacing other newbies in no time. Tier lists are helpful (shoutout to the 2026 ones floating around), but don’t be afraid to experiment with your favorite heroes too.
