If you’re a Marvel fan picking up MCoC on Android for the first time, let me save you the headache: this game’s fun as hell, but it’s easy to waste resources and get destroyed by even basic enemies if you don’t know the ropes. I’ve seen new players blow ISO-8 on 1-star heroes or skip Parry training—don’t be that guy. This guide cuts through the fluff to get you fighting better, building a solid team, and not wasting your time.

First, let’s nail the combat controls—they’re simple, but mastering them is make-or-break. Forget the fancy tutorials; here’s what you actually need to know:

1. Tap right = Light attack (fast, low damage, good for building combo).

2. Swipe right = Medium attack (bit more damage, staggers enemies).

3. Hold right = Heavy attack (slow, high damage, breaks blocks—use this when enemies turtle up).

4. Tap left = Block (duh), but here’s the pro tip: time your block RIGHT before an enemy hits to Parry—stuns them, perfect for counterattacks. This single trick will save you more health than anything else.

Swipe left to dash back, too—great for dodging big attacks. And when your power bar fills up (from hitting or getting hit), tap the skill icons for special attacks—Level 3 finishers are overkill early on, but they’re satisfying as hell.
