Let’s be real—most running apps either drain your battery in 20 minutes or give you so much data you don’t know what to do with it. FITAPP strikes a decent balance. I’ve used it for runs and bike rides, and the GPS tracking holds up without killing the battery. The voice feedback is what sold me—it calls out distance, pace, and calories without me having to look at the screen.

Turn on GPS before you run—duh — I know it sounds obvious, but I forgot this first time out. The app needs GPS to track your route, distance, and pace—without it, it’ll just log nothing. Turn it on 2 minutes before you start, so it has time to connect. I wasted a 3-mile run ’cause I forgot, and it didn’t record squat.
Set up voice feedback—game-changer — Don’t stare at your phone mid-run to check your pace. Go to settings, turn on voice feedback, and it’ll tell you your distance, calories, and speed every few minutes. I used to stop every 5 minutes to check, now I just listen—way safer and easier.
