Google Pixel, Motorola and Xiaomi users - you need one of the launchers below because your stock launcher does not support third-party icon packs. I recommend Nova - it's free!
Samsung users - if you are on Android 12 with OneUI 4.0 (or newer), you'll be able to apply icons with the (free) Samsung app Theme Park. OneUI 3 and lower doesn't support icon packs but you could switch to an alternative launcher from the list below:
To apply the icon pack, you must have one of these launchers installed:
Action • ADW • Before • BlackBerry • CM Theme • ColorOS (12+) • Flick • Go EX • Holo • Holo HD • Hyperion • KISS • Lawnchair • LG Home • Lucid • Neo • Niagara • Nothing • Nougat • Nova (recommended) • OneUI 4.0 (with Theme Park) • OxygenOS • POCO 2.0 (note that MIUI and POCO 3+ are not supported) • Posidon • Smart • Solo • Square

5 free icon requests are included in the app. I draw around 100 new icons each month based on the most popular ones. If you want be absolutely sure your app is included in the following month's update, or if you've run out of requests, you can buy additional requests right from within the app.
I draw all icons pixel by pixel on a tiny 20x20 pixel canvas and then upscale them so they look amazingly crisp on your homescreen or app drawer. You can be sure I'm using all my skill to make cute and readable icons you'll enjoy looking at!

Retro Mode – Icon Pack (Neon) Review: 90s Pixel Neon for Your Android Home Screen
If you live for retro 90s digital flair and want to turn your Android into a nostalgic time capsule, Retro Mode Neon Icon Pack delivers exactly that. This isn’t just another icon set—it’s a full visual throwback built around bold pixel art and glowing neon hues, made for anyone tired of generic modern themes. Let’s break down why it stands out, how to set it up right, and who it’s perfect for.
Why the Visuals Hit So Hard
The star of the show is its unapologetic 90s pixel aesthetic. Every icon uses clean, sharp pixel lines with bright neon coloring, no messy shadows or overdone outlines. It pops on AMOLED and LCD screens alike, giving your home screen that old-school arcade/retro tech feel.
With over 4,050 icons in the pack, coverage is massive. Nearly every popular social app, game, and utility gets a matching retro makeover, so you won’t end up with random unthemed icons ruining the vibe. Whether you’re into retro gaming or just love neon-drenched 90s style, the look stays consistent and cohesive.
Extra Customization That Makes It Worthwhile
This pack isn’t just icons—it brings full home screen personality. It includes 8 unique widget styles: analog clocks, dynamic greetings that shift with the time, date displays, and calendars. You can place them anywhere for a tailored layout.
Text customization is another win. Adjust text colors and gradients to match the neon theme, so every element ties together. The dev team also pushes regular updates with new icons and small quality-of-life tweaks, so the pack stays fresh over time. Missing an icon? You can request up to 5 free ones to fill gaps.
Setup Guide: Launcher Rules You Need to Know
This icon pack won’t work with most default launchers—you’ll need a compatible third-party option. Here’s the quick breakdown:
Pixel, Motorola, Xiaomi users: Grab Nova Launcher (free) for best results.
Samsung users (One UI 4.0+/Android 12+): Use Samsung Theme Park. Older One UI versions need Nova or similar.
Supported launchers: Nova, Action, ADW, Lawnchair, Niagara, and 20+ others. MIUI and Poco 3+ are not supported.
Once your launcher is ready, open the Retro Mode app, follow the on-screen prompts to apply the pack, and you’re set. The process is straightforward once you have the right launcher in place.
Final Verdict
Retro Mode – Icon Pack (Neon) is a top-tier choice for retro fans wanting a distinct 90s neon pixel look on Android. The huge icon library, flexible widgets, text customization, and ongoing updates make it well worth using. Just remember to install a compatible launcher first—Nova is the safest bet for most devices. If you want your phone to feel unique and full of nostalgic charm, this icon pack delivers.
