Cube ACR Tips
Let me keep it real—Call Recorder - Cube ACR by Cube Apps Ltd is one of the most reliable call recording apps for Android, perfect if you need to save important calls (work, family, or personal). It’s not fancy, but it’s straightforward, works most of the time, and has all the basics newbies need. I’ve been testing it for a few days, so here’s a no-BS newbie guide and honest take—no fluff, just what you need to start recording calls fast.
First off, what’s this app actually do? It’s a simple call recorder that auto-saves incoming and outgoing calls, no extra steps needed. Core stuff includes auto-recording, call sorting (by contact/date), audio format customization, volume gain (for quiet calls), and a shortcut in the notification bar. It also reminds you about call recording legality first—super important if you’re in places like the US where it’s not always allowed. It’s free to use, but has ads and in-app purchases for ad-free use and extra features.
Newbie Tips—I Messed Up So You Don’t Have To:
1. Don’t skip the legality prompt. When you open it first, it’ll ask about your location and if call recording is legal there. Answer honestly—skipping it might make the app not work. I ignored it once and couldn’t record any calls; total rookie move.
2. Turn on auto-recording right away. Go to settings and toggle “Auto-Record All Calls”—this way, you won’t forget to hit record mid-call. I forgot to turn it on and missed a important work call recording.
3. Adjust the volume gain if needed. If your recordings are too quiet, go to settings and crank up the gain. I had a few calls where I could barely hear the other person until I fixed this.
4. Organize your recordings. Use the “Mark as Important” feature for key calls—makes it way easier to find them later. I left all my recordings unorganized and spent 10 mins looking for one call.
